The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) has officially endorsed the inaugural Culture Carpet Launch – SALONE Across Borders 2026, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 28 November 2026, at the Arts and Crafts Village, Central Area, Abuja.
The Council recognizes the Culture Carpet as an innovative platform designed to celebrate African identity, creativity, fashion, music, arts and cultural expression, while promoting cultural exchange, tourism, investment and cultural diplomacy.
NCAC further recognizes the initiative's potential to create greater visibility for Africa's cultural and creative industries and foster collaboration among government institutions, cultural organizations, the private sector and international partners.
The Council commends SALONE LTD for the initiative and looks forward to opportunities for collaboration in areas that align with its mandate and programmes.
Niger State Tourism Corporation
The Niger State Tourism Corporation has officially endorsed SALONE Across Borders 2026, recognizing the event as a valuable platform for promoting African culture, tourism, hospitality, cultural exchange and regional economic collaboration.
The Corporation recognizes the relevance of SALONE Across Borders 2026 to its mandate of promoting Niger State's cultural heritage, tourism destinations and creative economy, and has expressed its institutional support for the initiative.
The Corporation is particularly interested in using the platform to showcase Niger State's tourism assets, cultural heritage, crafts and creative industries to tourism stakeholders, investors, businesses, diplomats and members of the public.
Niger State Tourism Corporation looks forward to exploring appropriate areas of collaboration with SALONE LTD and supporting the vision of making SALONE Across Borders 2026 a meaningful celebration of African culture, tourism and cross-border collaboration.
Sierra Leone Nationals Association (SLNA)
The Sierra Leone Nationals Association (SLNA), whose leadership sits in Abuja, has formally partnered with SALONE LTD for the successful organization and promotion of SALONE Across Borders 2026.
SLNA recognizes the importance of the event in promoting Sierra Leonean culture, unity, community engagement and positive collaboration within the Sierra Leonean community in Nigeria.
As part of the partnership, SLNA will support the programme through community mobilization, publicity and promotion among Sierra Leoneans, as well as other areas of support mutually agreed upon by both parties.
